GMO Foods Unsafe for Humans

A new study published in the journal Archives of Toxicology proves once again that there really is no safe level of exposure to Monsanto’s Roundup (glyphosate) herbicide formula for genetically-modified organisms (GMOs). According to the new findings, Roundup, which is applied by the tens of thousands of tons a year all around the world, is toxic to human DNA even when diluted to a mere 0.02 percent of the dilution amount at which it is currently applied to GM food crops.

Numerous studies have already identified the fact that Roundup causes DNA damage, not to mention endocrine disruption and cancer. But this new study, which originates out of the Medical University of Vienna, is one of the first to illustrate Roundup’s toxicity at such drastically diluted levels, which is a direct contradiction of the agri-giant’s talking points about the supposed safety of Roundup.

I totally agree! I hope a law gets put into place mandating GM food labels. As the consumer, I think why take the risk? I don’t want to take part in this human feeding experiment.

It does seem like it’s nearly impermissible these days to entirely avoid GMOs and synthetic additives. Especially if you live in a small town and your only choice for grocery shopping is a major supermarket like Ingles. I’ve decided the best way is to grow my own produce and eat only wild meat that my husband hunts in the woods where we live. But what about cheese?!?! I love cheese and it’s so hard to find organic! Maybe one day we will be able to trust our government and the labels that appear on our food ? I just stumbled upon this site through Pinterest and am so happy to discover that I am not the only one who is outraged with the fraud that is our food system, and I refuse to be a victim or allow my children to be victims! I can’t wait to dive in and read more posts!
